Forest Grove has been my home for over 30 years. Many changes have come to our small community. I’ve been living here quietly like many others in the community. It’s time to wake up and let our voices be heard!
I believe in honesty, integrity and commitment to serving the people of Forest Grove. I have no political experience, therefore, I’m not a politician!
Individual Liberty: The First Amendment of our constitution gives US citizens the right to have their voices heard without retribution. I will listen to my fellow councilors and constituency. Whether paid or volunteer, public officials are accountable to those they represent.
Solutions for Homeless Issues: My goal would be to findsolutions to help the homeless off the streets and on the road to self-support. Currently, there are homeless camps in Forest Grove where theft in nearby neighborhoods and drug use are rampant.
Law Enforcement and Public Safety: The drug situation is out-of-control in our schools and community. Protect police funding. Police officers deserve our support for putting their lives on the line to protect our community.
Fiscal responsibility: Account for every expense and every penny. Taxpayer money should benefit the public. Budgets should decrease if the available funds decrease. All costs and expenses should be made public.
